An AI-assisted browser game built on years of hands-on RPG design experience. I used the fundamentals learned through traditional development to guide the mechanics, evaluate iterations, and shape the player experience.

THE FOUNDATION / TRADITIONAL DEVELOPMENT
DARK TALES OF THE RIFT.
Before AI-assisted workflows, I learned to build a game the traditional way. Creating a turn-based, open-class RPG demanded patience: combat, progression, story, and player choice all had to work together. Seeing a playable demo take shape made the work rewarding.
Dark Tales of the Rift taught me that making a game means more than assembling features. Designing a system is one challenge; getting combat, character growth, and narrative to reinforce one another is another. The process was demanding, but seeing the demo come together was deeply rewarding.
02 / EVOLUTION
Building with AI
With Knights of Obsidian, I explored a different production workflow. AI helped accelerate implementation and iteration, while I continued to make decisions about the systems, the experience, and what needed improvement. The tools evolved; the responsibility for the design remained.
THE PERSON BEHIND THE SYSTEMS
DESIGNER. BUILDER. PROBLEM SOLVER.
I'm an independent game developer with experience creating RPGs, prototyping gameplay systems, and building game mods. My focus is on player agency, readable mechanics, and meaningful decisions.
